Key Responsibilities:


Regulatory Strategy & Compliance

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies in alignment with commercial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international aviation laws, commercial licensing, and operational regulations.
  • Oversee and manage the preparation, submission, and tracking of regulatory applications, licenses, and reports.

Internal & External Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with legal, commercial, and operations teams to ensure regulatory alignment in route planning, partnerships, and new market entries.
  • Engage with GACA and other aviation authorities to represent flyadeal’s regulatory interests.
  • Provide strategic input on commercial agreements from a regulatory standpoint.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain an organized database of regulatory submissions, correspondence, and approvals.
  • Provide senior leadership with regular updates on compliance status, risks, and regulatory developments.
  • Respond timely and accurately to regulatory inquiries and audits.

Training & Development

  • Conduct awareness sessions and provide guidance on commercial aviation regulations to internal teams.
  • Foster regulatory readiness across departments involved in commercial operations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Business, Law, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or JD is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Government and Regulatory Affairs, preferably in the airline industry or with GACA.
  • Strong understanding of KSA commercial regulatory frameworks and regional aviation compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of aviation laws, licensing processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and public relations skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient in project management and relevant digital tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
